Cost effective medical alert emergency app

Up until now the only main option for a medical alert system for seniors has been the medical alert pendant and medical alert bracelet. However these come at quite a cost making them prohibitive for some. While the government subsidises these for those in need, the cost can range from NZD 323 to NZD 1,200 per year. The 5 medical alerts systems recommended by New Zealand’s Ministry of Social Development average NZD 823 per annum. With some of the cheaper medical alert products there are other potential costs. With MedAlerts there is only the $59.99 annual fee.
